At SWC, we want women to know their incredible value in God's eyes, that they are whole-heartedly loved by their Creator, and that they have a unique and important role in the Body of Christ. "Sisters" Women's Ministry is open to women of all ages and life-stages; it's a wonderful mosaic of women from different backgrounds, facing different challenges, yet blended together in Christ. Our purpose is to offer a place where women can share the Word and their lives with each other, through meaningful friendships, Bible study and fun. I Thessalonians 2:8 says, "we loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel . . .but our lives as well . . . ." That's what Sisters is all about . . .sharing the Word and sharing life together.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study
The Tuesday Morning Women's Bible study meets each Tuesday at 9:30 AM-11:00 AM in Room 201. We pray for each other, as well as any expressed needs at the beginning of each meeting and then study the scripture together. This teaching and discussion-based study is open to women of all ages, and childcare is provided.
Sisters Cafe Saturday is a quarterly meeting for all women, with a variety of themes and speakers in Room 201 at 10:00 AM. Please check the church calendar for the next meeting date, and then join your Sisters at Cafe Saturday for encouragement, friendship, laughter and of course, coffee!
Fun with your Sisters
A couple times a year, we plan events that are just for fun. Whether it's a "how-to" cooking or decorating class, a tea luncheon, or a shopping trip, Sisters will take any opportunity to get together, and we'd be delighted to have you join us!
