Loving people and helping people go hand in hand, and define how we see "lifestyle worship" at SWC. We are committed to serving people in practical ways, encouraging and ministring to the hurting. We invite you to "Get Moving" with us, and experience the joy found in serving those around us, in our community and around the world. If you were to visit our sanctuary, you would notice a statement painted on the back wall. Written there are the words, "You are now entering God's mission field" over the exit doors. That declaration correctly sums up our outreach and missions vision for SWC. Everything outside the four walls of the church is our mission field, and we are committed to impacting people for the Lord, whether they are across the world or across the street. It is our "mission" to reach them with the love of Christ. SWC Missions and outreach are lead by Pastor Bob Burget. It is our joy to invest in various ministries around the globe - from the United States to Mexico, to India and Mongolia. If you have a heart for missions, there is a place for you! |

One of our pastors in India sent this report:
"We had a wonderful watchnight service on 31st of December, 2009. Many people have come to attend the service, we had it in a place called Brindavan Gardens. We started the meeting at 9 o clock in the night and closed the meeting on 2 am same night. We felt the mighty presence of the Lord. God gave us the word that night as a promise from Isaiah 43:19, it says Behold I will do a new thing. We had a Holy Communion that night, we also had promises from the Bible for everyone, handwritten on small cards. Tuniki Bolarum is one of our branch churches which is located in outskirts of Hyderabad. We were able to build this church few years ago. The Scottsdale Worship Center helped us to put on the roof. In last december during the Christmas time, we conducted a small childrens outreach program. Many children from non-Christian backgrounds came and learnt songs that we taught them. We presented the Gospel through stories, and we also gave them gifts."
