Get Small

In SWC small groups, people study God's Word together and discuss life's issues and challenges.  It's also where they pray, care for each another and are missed if they don't show up.  It's about discipleship and sharing life, with its ups and downs, together.  SWC's small groups meet on and off campus, and include bi-monthly Homelinks meetings, Life groups and weekly Bible studies.  We believe that effectual, lasting life change can happen in the context of spiritual community.  Small groups provide the kind of environment where people are invited to discuss, ask questions and grow together in the Lord.

Prayer Teams PDF Print E-mail
SWC is mobilized in prayer; there are multiple groups that meet on a regular basis to intercede for the needs and opportunities facing the SWC family and beyond.  As a church community, we believe that we can only move forward in God as we are seeking Him, diligently praying for His will in our lives, our church, our city and our world. Primarily, though, the true purpose of prayer is to get to know our Father God, to enjoy relationship with Him, and to let Him speak to us.  Please join us in prayer!

Each group consists of between four and fourteen people, gathering to study the Bible, pray and make relational connections.  The meetings last for one hour and thirty minutes, and each group utilizes a curriculum designed to foster undertanding and insight into God's Word, as well as its application for life.  You are welcome to join any group that fits your schedule and location, and please don't hesitate to visit several groups before you make up your mind where you belong.  Let's do life together!
